A Legacy of Compassion. A Mission From the Heart.

Since 1999, I’ve been fundraising under the name From The Heart Foundation—a grassroots effort born out of a deep love for my community and a calling to serve those in need. What began as a local initiative quickly grew into a powerful movement of compassion, supporting schools, nonprofits, churches, and outreach centers across Orange County and beyond.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working alongside incredible organizations such as:

One of the most transformative chapters of my journey was with Taller San Jose / Hope Builders, where I served as a teacher and mentor to young men and women rebuilding their lives—many of whom were overcoming traumatic pasts, homelessness, or reentry after incarceration. It was here I learned that hope, when nurtured, can truly change lives.

Thanks to the generosity of donors and the unwavering support of volunteers and community leaders, my efforts have helped raise:

• Over $250,000 in monetary and service donations

• 500+ books for underserved youth and adults

• 50,000+ canned food items for food-insecure families

• Countless toiletries and clothing donations for individuals in crisis

From The Heart Foundation eventually gave birth to Bug Angels (BugAngels.org), a specialized program focused on combating loneliness and isolation—particularly among seniors, adults with autism, and others struggling silently.

This mission is personal. It’s heartfelt. And it’s far from over.

I remain passionately committed to serving Huntington Beach and surrounding communities—bringing hope, dignity, and human connection to those who need it most.
